The farthest she can remember is waking up on a cold metal table, painful stitches keeping her limbs together. The straps that were supposed to keep her on the table were strangely cut open.
All she could hear was get out, over and over. That was all she wanted to do. Run.
The moment she stepped out of the cold room, alarms went off, and she panicked. She sprinted out the nearest exit, although she could sense other beings chasing her.
Eventually she came to a forest, where she nervously decided to rest, although she still felt the other beings’ presence. The stitches felt wrong and through the pain, she tried to take them out.
Kin found her attempting the act, and despite the two’s wariness, he helped her by burning the stitches away.
Angel Dust begged Kin to shelter him and eventually her gave in and agreed to. Through time they both fell for each other.
When Croissant came to kill Kin, she stopped Croissant from doing so. However, she demanded to know Kin’s true feelings about her and felt almost betrayed that Kin may just love her because she was like Marmalade.
It was figured that Angel dust was a vessel for the remnants of Marmalade’s soul. The spirit of Marmalade reunited with Marmalade’s rage that had been haunting Kin for so long.
Marmalade forgave Kin and told Angel Dust to be her, because that is who Kin truly loved.
